ViziApps FAQ
ViziApps enables retail and supply chain organizations to rapidly build and deploy secure mobile workflow apps for their frontline warehouse and distribution center operations. ViziApps works alongside a company’s operations and IT teams to enable the ViziApps platform to develop and deploy these apps inside the organization’s existing IT security perimeter, so new tools reach frontline workers in days rather than months.
Most no-code and low-code platforms focus on how quickly an app can be built. ViziApps provides rapid app development tools (RAD), but critically also solves the deployment problem other systems leave unsolved: how quickly a finished app can be securely deployed to frontline devices inside a large enterprise’s existing IT security model. This approach is called RADD — Rapid Application Development and Deployment.
The advantage of the ViziApps approach can be measured with Time to Frontline, a critical new supply chain KPI that is the time between when an improvement opportunity or problem is identified and the mobile tool to solve it has real economic impact in the hands of frontline workers.
No. ViziApps is designed to connect to and extend a company’s existing warehouse management system (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP)), and other business systems through secure integrations, without replacing them. Mobile workflow apps built and deployed with ViziApps digitize the operational tasks that happen around and between those systems.
ViziApps embeds its mobile app development and deployment platform inside a customer’s existing IT security perimeter — working with the company’s existing authentication, data governance, and device management systems rather than introducing a separate one. Because ViziApps mobile app delivery is pre-approved, individual apps inherit those security controls automatically instead of requiring separate lengthy security reviews for each app.
With the ViziApps platform, a mobile workflow app can typically be developed, integrated with existing data sources and AI, and securely deployed to frontline teams in seven days or less. This is significantly faster than the weeks or months a traditional enterprise app development and deployment process usually takes.
ViziApps supports ruggedized industrial handhelds, including Zebra devices, as well as standard Apple iOS and Android smartphones and tablets — the range of hardware retail and warehouse frontline workers typically use.
Yes. ViziApps is MCP-enabled and so can integrate with major AI platforms, including Anthropic, Google, Microsoft, and OpenAI, and can also connect to a company’s own proprietary large language models and machine learning models. Mobile apps built on ViziApps can capture operational data at the point of work and feed it back into those models for continuous improvement, enabling the AI to immediately send back information and instructions based on the data entered.
Both models are supported. Frontline operations staff with the right real world supply chain skills can build apps themselves using ViziApps’ no/low-code app-building tools, with no traditional coding required, or ViziApps’ team can work alongside a company’s operations and IT staff to design, build, and deploy apps as a service.
Walmart is ViziApps’ largest customer. Walmart’s operations teams use ViziApps to build and deploy their own mobile workflow apps — such as dock receiving, trailer load quality, vendor error correction, and inventory management apps — daily across more than 50,000 devices, securely connected to corporate data systems.
Reported results include a shipment inspection app built in three days that reduced inspection costs by 45% and, per ViziApps’ published examples of AI-augmented workflow apps, reported annual savings ranging from roughly $100K to $3.5M per app depending on the workflow use case and scale.
Pricing depends on the scope of the engagement — the number of apps, the complexity of integrations, and whether a company is building apps itself or relying more heavily on ViziApps’ services. Contact ViziApps directly for pricing specific to your organization.
The typical starting point is a single proof of concept app, rather than implementation of the full platform.
